Although in a countryside position, it is only a 15 minute drive to beachside resorts and towns, and some excellent golf courses.
The villa sits in its own well kept landscaped gardens with a private kidney shaped pool offering plenty of sun bathing area.
The accommodation is all on one floor, making it easy for anyone with mobility limitations.
The only steps are those from the lounge up to the dining area and kitchen and a few steps down from the lounge to the pool terrace.
The lounge is huge, sunny and bright with wall length patio doors opening to the pool.
The separate circular dining area with its feature “cupola” ceiling is stepped up from one end of the lounge and leads into the large kitchen with breakfast table and utility area.
On one side of the villa there are two double en-suite bedrooms, one twin bedroom and another separate bathroom. The two further bedrooms are on the other side of the house and share a separate shower room.
There is an excellent games room offering a pool table, dart board, flat screen satellite TV and a bar area. Double doors lead to the garden.
All in all this is a great property for those who love peace and quiet who do not mind driving as and when necessary to reach the fabulous beaches, towns and golf courses that this part of the Algarve has to offer.

General Info
Maid service is once a week. Linen and towels are provided, although guests are asked to bring their own beach/pool towels. Towels are changed once a week, and linen weekly.
Change over day is flexible.
On your day of arrival, your accommodation will be ready from 3.30 pm. On departure, you are asked to vacate by 10.30 am.
For the comfort of all our guests, we request no smoking in the villa.
Location
From Faro Airport, it is approximately a 1 hour drive.
The villa is located in a lovely countryside location within a 15 minute drive of Alvor and its beaches and also the regional town of Portimão. There are a couple of local restaurants within walking distance of the villa and others a short drive away. There is also a mini-market within walking distance.
It is an excellent base for exploring the Western Algarve as well as venturing inland to the village of Monchique and upwards to Foia, the highest point of the Algarve from where there are magnificent views of the Algarve in all directions as far as the eye can see.
Alvor is a small town full of character, with a beautiful long sandy beach and a newly developed pedestrianised area by the lagoon. It offers a particularly relaxing, laid back atmosphere with cafes and restaurants looking over the lagoon.
Lagos, approximately a 15-20 minute drive away is a larger town, again with a lovely long sandy beach. It is another town with lots of character, with cobbled streets lined with cafes and restaurants and a good selection of shops. As you enter the town from the east you will come to the marina which is a great place to sit watching the world go by and is also the base from where to pick up many of the water borne trips on offer.
The regional town of Portimão is also within easy driving distance. Although bigger and busier, it is a very pleasant place to visit, with a newly pedestrianised waterside area with cafes and restaurants looking out over the estuary. For those who like fish it is a must to sample the freshly caught sardines in one of the many fish restaurants on the quayside. The interior of the town also has some charm and is a nice place to wander in the latter part of the day once it is a little cooler.
There is a wonderful choice of activities on the Algarve and many of these are within a short drive of the villa. For waterborne sports including sailing, dolphin watching, deep sea fishing and more then these can be picked up at Lagos. Airborne activities are available at the aerodrome at Alvor. There are a variety on offer such as scenic flights, hot air ballooning, microlight flying, sky diving and parachuting.
Golf is never far away from any location on the Algarve and this villa is no exception. There are a selection within a 5-15 minute drive and these include Penina, Morgado, Alto Golf (Alvor), and Palmares. The nearest is Penina at just over 5 minutes in the car.
There are also tennis courts at Penina.
Many other activities are available at Alvor, Lagos and Portimão. The Western Algarve is a particularly great place for windsurfing and kite boarding.
For those of you with an interest in motor sport then you may want to visit the newly opened Autodrome near Portimão. This is a Formula 1 approved track and currently hosts worldwide events for Superbikes, GT and Go-Karting. There are also driving packages available.
A trip to the actual west coast of the Algarve is highly recommended because of its spectacular scenery and stunning beaches. It runs from Cap St Vincent (the most westerly point of the Algarve) up to Odeceixe on the border of the Alentejo, the region bordering the Algarve.

Upon booking, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday.
A refundable damage deposit of £300 is required and this is payable when the balance of your payment is made. This will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure, if no damage occurs.
