This pretty 3 bedroom Portuguese style villa gives the most welcoming feeling immediately on entering the gardens. It is perfectly located a few kilometres west of Albufeira, near to Castelo and Evaristo beaches. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in its own private garden which contains a good sized pool surrounded by lawn and borders of shrubs and flowers. There is a shaded area with a barbecue and stone table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining.
The accommodation itself is cool, spacious and well equipped. It has retained its original charm with modern additions such as a new kitchen and refurbished bathrooms. It sleeps 6-8 people. There is a sofa bed in the area just outside the main double bedroom which would be good for children.
Beaches and restaurants are within easy walking distance – the beautiful coves of Castelo and Evaristo being less than 10 minutes. Most of the restaurants in the immediate area are excellent.
If you want some relative peace and quiet, near to beaches and restaurants, but also to be within easy reach of Albufeira for something more lively when the mood takes you then this is the ideal place.

There is a sofa bed which will sleep 2 in the area just outside the main double bedroom on the 1st floor.

2 Cots and 2 High Chairs provided.
Maid service is once a week. A more frequent service can be provided if required at a small additional cost. Linen and towels are provided and are changed once a week. Guests are asked to bring their own beach/pool towels.
Change over day is flexible. On your day of arrival, your accommodation will be ready from 3.30 pm.
On departure, you are asked to vacate by 10.30 am.
For the comfort of all our guests, we request no smoking in the villa.
Location
From Faro Airport, it is approximately a 40 minute drive.
In the immediate area, there are some absolutely wonderful beaches. Castelo and Evaristo, both picturesque sandy coves, are the closest, less than a 10 minute walk. A little further on and you will come to Coelha and Sao Rafael and in the opposite direction Lourenco and Gale. All are beautiful and sandy. Galé is a wonderful long flat expanse of sand safe for children and for the more energetic, you can walk from Galé to Armação da Pera along the beach, a distance of some 3 or 4 kilometres. It is also a great place to watch the breathtaking Algarvean sunsets. The whole area also offers lovely cliff top walks. Additionally there are many smaller coves scattered along this part of the coast, some only accessible by foot. Most of the beaches have sun beds and there are a variety of water sports on offer at Galé.
A few minutes walk from the villa there is a mini market where you can buy most things for your everyday needs and 10 minutes down the road you will find a larger supermarket which is always well stocked with freshly baked bread every day, a butcher and a fishmonger. Within easy walking distance there is a choice of good restaurants and bars. Within a few minutes drive there is a wider selection of restaurants, ranging from traditional Portuguese to Chinese, Indian and Italian.
Just 5 minutes by car is the lively Old Town of Albufeira where there are numerous restaurants and bars, live music, shops, banks, post offices, tourist information and most things you need for your holiday in the sun. On the way you will come across Albufeira's colourful new marina which although still evolving offers a relaxing atmosphere with a new bars and restaurants and entertainment during the summer months. It is a great place for a stroll on those long summer evenings.
Golf courses are plentiful along the Algarve, the nearest being Salgados, which is a 5 minute drive. The 2 new courses at Alcantarilha “Faldo Amendoeira” designed by Nick Faldo and “O’Connor Amendoeira” are about a 15 minute drive as are the 9 hole courses at Balaia and Pinecliffs. Others, such as the 5 award winning courses at Vilamoura and in the opposite direction Vale de Milho, Gramacho and Pinta (near Carvoeiro) are no more than a 30 minute drive.
Many of the Algarve’s attractions are within easy reach – Zoomarine, where you can swim with the dolphins, Water parks, Krazyworld, numerous excursions, safari trips, diving, horse riding, tennis, go-karting and more.
Car hire is not strictly necessary for your stay at this villa, but to make the most of your holiday in the Algarve we would recommend it for at least part of your time.
We can arrange personal airport transfers to the villa and have a car delivered to you there should you wish.

Upon booking, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday.
A refundable damage deposit of £200 is required and this is payable when the balance of your payment is made. This will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure, if no damage occurs.
