This is a recently built villa located in the village of Alcantarilha, near to Armação da Pera and Albufeira.
It offers spacious, airy living accommodation and is fully equipped for a self catering holiday in the Algarve.
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in an elevated position it enjoys views across the surrounding countryside and down to the coast at Armação da Pera.
It has 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 twins all with balconies overlooking the pool. The lounge/diner is very big and for those of you who enjoy the TV it has satellite with a 42 inch plasma screen. In addition, all bedrooms have satellite TV.
There is a good size salt water pool which is set in a south facing position. It is surrounded by a large patio area, ideal for sun bathing or dining and beyond that by garden.
If you want a holiday with a more Portuguese feel to it then this is an ideal place. Most of your neighbours will be Portuguese and the village of Alcantarilha is typically Portuguese. Armação da Pera, which is your nearest beach is busy but laid back. It has lots of restaurants and bars to choose from and it has a fabulous sandy beach which stretches miles.

General Info
Maid service is once a week. Linen and towels are provided, although guests are asked to bring their own beach/pool towels. Towels and linen are changed weekly.
Change over day is flexible – please enquire.
On your day of arrival, your accommodation will be ready from 3.30 pm. On departure, you are asked to vacate by 10.30 am.

From Faro Airport, it is approximately a 40 minute drive.
Alcantarilha itself is a small Portuguese village. There are a few restaurants which offer typically Portuguese cuisine and at very reasonable prices. One of the village’s attractions is the Church “Our Lady da Conceição” (16th Century) which is famous for its rare 'Capela dos Ossos' (Chapel of Bones) an eerie display of human skulls and bones of approximately 1500 parishioners sealed into the walls of the chapel.
5 minutes in the car will bring you to the town of Armação da Pera and its fabulous beach that stretches miles. On first approaching the town you will be hit by its high rise apartment buildings. However, don’t be put off, once into the town and driving along the beach front you will be pleasantly surprised. It has a great atmosphere and lots of good restaurants and bars to choose from. It is still very Portuguese and take a wander down to Fisherman’s beach and you will see lots of fishing boats moored up on the sand and fishermen in their huts mending their nets ready for their next catch. There are still lots of “old hut style” cafes on the beach, which sadly are disappearing from many of Portugal’s beaches to be replaced by more modern wooden buildings. During the summer months there are lots of beach sports such as volleyball and a separate area has been sectioned off for this. There are also lots of water sports on offer. If you like walking then there is mile after mile of sandy beach to walk along. The town is also a nice place to stroll through, with lots of winding streets lined with shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Albufeira is less than 15 minutes in the car – here you are spoilt for choice for bars, restaurants, cafes, music, beaches, shops and more.
There are 2 water parks close to the villa – Aqualand, just 5 minutes away and Zoomarine (where you can swim with the dolphins) the same distance in the other direction.
The nearest supermarket is Aldi which is about a 5 minute walk. Alternatively, a short car ride away is “Algarve Shopping” which hosts a very large supermarket, variety of shops and designer clothes shops, 8 screened cinema (most films are in English with Portuguese sub-titles) and a food hall. In Armação da Pera you will find a lot of “local” supermarkets where you can buy most things for your everyday needs.
The villa is in a very accessible location and most things are an easy car ride away.
We would recommend car hire for your stay at this villa and also to make the most of your holiday in the Algarve.

A refundable damage
deposit of £150 is required and this is payable when
the balance of your payment is made. This will be returned
