Accommodation

 

The accommodation consists of a large bed–sitting room plus a separate bathroom.

Maid service is weekly. Linen and towels are provided, although guests are asked to bring their own beach/pool towels.  Towels and linen are changed weekly.

   
  Changeover day is flexible.
   
  On your day of arrival, the apartment will be ready from 2.30 pm. On departure, you are asked to vacate by 10.30 am.
   
  Guests are requested not to smoke inside the apartment
   

Location

From the airport, it is approximately a 35 minute drive.

The Old Town of Albufeira with its never–ending bars and restaurants, street performers, shops and live music is about a 15 minute walk (downhill). The town’s wonderful sandy beaches are about the same distance, where you can relax on sunbeds, participate in the watersports or just enjoy a long walk, particularly at low tide.

A little nearer, about a 10 minute walk, there is a small arcade. Here you will find a good supermarket where you can buy everything for your day to day needs; a launderette; an excursion booking agency; and an an Italian Restaurant. Below the restaurant is a small friendly bar, with a big terrace, overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy live music on certain nights of the week. They also have Sky TV and an internet connection. There is no specific closing time, they just stay open until the last customer leaves.

In the opposite direction to the Old Town, you will come across the newly built marina, which is still being developed, but offers a relaxing atmosphere, and already has a couple of good bars/restaurants. This is no more than a 20 minute walk from the apartment.

All in all, the apartment is in a great location and as long as you don’t mind a bit of a walk (uphill on the way back from town), a car is not necessary. You can always get a taxi if you are feeling lazy. However, we do recommend car hire to all our clients to make the most of their holiday in the Algarve – it's a shame not explore if you can!

Upon booking, a non-refundable 20% deposit is required. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday.

A refundable damage deposit of £100 is required and this is payable when the balance of your payment is made. This will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure, if no damage occurs.
