This cosy 1 bedroom 1st floor apartment is in a lovely location, less than a 10 minute walk from the beautiful cove of Coelha Beach, a few miles west of Albufeira. It has been equipped with most things you would need for a self-catering holiday. There is an L-shaped south and east facing terrace with BBQ and Patio furniture offering a good outside space useful at any time of the day: whether waking up to the sunshine and enjoying a leisurely breakfast, simply watching the world go by, enjoying an early evening drink or dining "al fresco".

There is a superb choice of restaurants within easy walking distance, indeed there is one just next door.  Immediately below the apartment is a friendly day time café and mini-market.

If you are looking for something with the convenience of good restaurants and beaches nearby, negating the need for a car, but not in the middle of a busy resort then this is a perfect spot.  On other occasions when you do fancy something more lively, then Albufeira is less than 10 minutes in a taxi.

Maid service is once a week. Linen and towels are provided, although guests are asked to bring their own beach/pool towels. Towels and linen are changed once a week.

Fans are provided in the lounge and bedroom.

Change over day is flexible. On your day of arrival, your accommodation will be ready from 2.30 pm.

On departure, you are asked to vacate by 10.30 am.

For the comfort of all our guests, we request no smoking in the apartment.

The apartment is above the cafè / mini-market.
There are no other apartments within the block. There is a flight of steps up to the apartment.

Location

From Faro Airport, it is approximately a 40 minute drive.

In the immediate area, there are some stunning beaches and coves. Coelha is the closest, less than a 10 minute walk.  This is a cove backed by high cliffs with a beach bar/restaurant and if you like walking there is a good cliff top walk. About the same distance in the opposite direction and you will come to São Rafael - this consists of two sandy coves and both have a very good beach bar/restaurant. A longer walk or a few minutes in a car will bring you to Castelo, Evaristo and Lourenço, all picturesque sandy coves. After this you arrive at Galé, a wonderful long flat expanse of sand safe for children and a great place to watch the breathtaking Algarvean sunsets. For the more energetic, you can walk from Galé to Armação de Pêra along the beach, a distance of some 3 or 4 kilometres. Additionally there are many smaller coves scattered along this part of the coast, some only accessible by foot.  Most of the beaches have sun beds and there are a variety of water sports on offer at Galé.

Immediately below the apartment there is a mini market where you can buy most things for your everyday needs.  Within easy walking distance there is a choice of good restaurants and bars. Within a few minutes drive there is a wider selection of restaurants, ranging from traditional Portuguese to Chinese, Indian and Italian.

Just a little more than 5 minutes by car is the lively Old Town of Albufeira where there are numerous restaurants and bars, live music, shops, banks, post offices, tourist information and most things you need for your holiday in the sun.  On the way you will come across Albufeira's colourful new marina which although slowly evolving offers a relaxing atmosphere with a few bars and restaurants and entertainment during the summer months.  It is a great place for a stroll on those long summer evenings.

Golf courses are plentiful along the Algarve, the nearest being Salgados, which is a 5 minute drive. The 2 new courses at Alcantarilha “Faldo Amendoeira” designed by Nick Faldo and “O’Connor Amendoeira” are about a 15 minute drive as are the 9 hole courses at Balaia and Pinecliffs. Others, such as the 5 award winning courses at Vilamoura and in the opposite direction Vale de Milho, Gramacho and Pinta (near Carvoeiro) are no more than a 30 minute drive.

Many of the Algarve’s attractions are within easy reach – Zoomarine, where you can swim with the dolphins, Water parks, Krazyworld, numerous excursions, safari trips, diving, horse riding, tennis, go-karting and more.

New to the area is an excellent health club/spa - "Infante de Sagres" at Salgados.  Their facilities are superb and a vast range of treatments are on offer.   

Car hire is not necessary for your stay at this apartment, but if you do like to explore and see different places to we would recommend it for at least part of your time.

Upon booking, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday.

A refundable damage deposit of 150 is required and this is payable when the balance of your payment is made. This will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure, if no damage occurs.
